Troop 528 families,
We are looking to increase in person gatherings. We will need to follow all the COVID-19 gathering guidelines.
We would like to do some Service projects on Sunday June 28th.
At 11AM we will do some staining of picnic tables at the VFW pavilion, and painting of our Troop bottle shed. This will be weather dependent. All tools will be supplies, just bring your face masks, and appropriate clothing.
We would like to do a roadside cleanup also that is part of our Scout Yankee Doodle District initiative. At 11AM I will take the vests and helmets out of the Troop shed, and set them outside. We will give out the vest and helmets we normally use and have families do roadside cleanups wherever they would like. Just sanitize and return in a few hours to the VFW. You would use your own bags and put those bags in your own garbage at home. Keep track of how many miles you clean and send an email to me. I could set up a schedule for Rt 351 to be done in sections between Poestenkill and Algonquin if you would like?
Please reply to the Troop for the roadside cleanup by Wednesday June 24th.
Thank you,
Troop 528 Updated 6/21/2020
